Kath Bee’s down-to-earth, humorous, absolutely positively Kiwi children’s songs are a winner with kids and adults.  Her thought-provoking lyrics set to fun and catchy tunes guarantee to have the whole family amused and singing along. Once a self-acclaimed “shower-singer”, Kath completed the Nelson School of Music Contemporary Performance Course in 2000 and found her passion and gift.  Since then she has produced a range of hit songs and an invitation to perform at the 2006 Nelson Arts Festival urged her to turn her hobby into a career.  Kath’s first album “Dragons under my bed” has been a hit with schools and kindergartens all around NZ and her original songs are even featuring in the UK, USA and Norway.  Her work has won acclaim in Pacific and USA song writing competitions.  Kath has recently produced her second album “I’ve got a dinosaur in my back yard”.  Her inspiration for her songs comes from her daughter, her life and walking on the beach in Marlborough where she lives.  Kath refers to herself as a late bloomer with a goal to become a household name. With her talent and infectious enthusiasm for kids, we think Kath is well on the way to achieving her goal.
