Mark and Rowan create quirky, beautifully produced picture books for big and little kids. Their first book, Cork on the Ocean, received 5 star reviews and NZ Herald picked it as one of the best children's books of the year. Their second book, Cork and the Bottle ("Quirky, unique, charming" - Canvas Mag) was released shortly after in partnership with Random House. Baa Baa Smart Sheep and The Silliest Dream came next and were published under Mark and Rowan's own publishing imprint Dreamboat Books. Described as "laugh-out-loud-funny", Baa Baa Smart Sheep won the 'Children's Choice' award in the 2011 NZ Post Children's Book Awards. Their latest offering, Two Little Bugs, is a story about finding your wings. Written in rhyme it features a number of die-cut holes and shapes as Little Bug Red eats its way from one page to the next! Mark and Rowan live on Waiheke Island with one little bug of their own - a son called Linden.
