"Sustainable thinking, simple solutions, beautifully designed." Jamin of Room Two believes in sustainable design and the importance of reducing the environmental footprint of every item of furniture produced: "While we have focused on ideas of reducing waste in our Pop Out range, future directions include furniture using recycled materials, as well as the re-use of existing materials. Our philosophy is concerned with the life of our furniture once it hits the waste stream, and we are keen to develop designs which ensure the greatest purity of resource, thus enabling materials to be lifted from the waste stream and used again, rather than ending up in landfills." Room Two uses materials such as plywood and pine. These materials are sustainably grown and manufactured in Aotearoa.
