Huge congrats to Andre Hodgskin taking the GOLD with his latest innovation, the modular bach IPAD. The design won the Residential Interior Category at the 2008 NZ BeST Design Awards. It's not surprising IPAD has drawn the attention of the judges after the huge interest being shown to date. Roger Kelly scores again winning the annual Design/Make Furniture Design Competition curated by the Waiheke Island Community Art Gallery.Running for the third year, this years theme was to construct a sideboard, balancing the storage and display aspects.The winning entry titled “Renovation” is constructed entirely of sustainable Radiata Pine to echo the structural elements of the Kiwi weatherboard home. Cloud South Films is the midlife lovechild of NZ based Emmy nominated, multi-award winning Canadian cinematographer Tom Burstyn CSC, FRSA and New Zealand journalist Barbara Sumner Burstyn.
