Inspiration for this work:
This intriguing art is based on the Snellen eye charts that doctors and optometrists (and driver's license assessors!) use to measure eye sight. But in an interesting twist, Brad has utilised imagery from his own oeuvre, the much loved game of football, Aotearoa and South Africa (the hosts of the Football World Cup in 2010).
Separate to his copyrighted 'Eye Chart' - inspired piece featured here, Brad is one of only 5 leading contemporary NZ artists chosen by the official FIFA art licensee for the World Cup 2010 to create artwork for this international event.
