Intron Print. The Intron press is a printing system that makes one-off prints. The press transfers an image which can begin as a drawing, a photograph or a digital image (which is then copied onto a specially treated paper in reverse), onto a high quality art paper (or a piece of wood or metal or fabric or whatever) through both HEAT and PRESSURE so that the ink ends up embedded in the paper. It produces a very nice looking print. "In the case of my Intron prints I do a lot of work on the image (which usually starts life as a painting) in the computer, resulting in a series of separate coloured layers (up to ten in some cases), exactly the same way I would make a silk screen
