The Heart started as a 3D assemblage in demolition timber I made for a birthday present. I made another for a dear friends funeral when the family said they wanted something to represent her at the memorial, as she was already cremated. After a huge amount of positive feedback from both pieces, I thought "I'll see if I can make it work as a print". At first glance it may look like a photograph but it is actually twenty one layers of flat colour. I do still enjoy making the wooden ones if anyone wants one, but they are all unique and what you get is what you get.
