A low light source and absence of colour to emphasise the sculptural qualities of Kawakawa leaves. I am fascinated by the structure and texture of leaves and flowers. My current images often focus on these features in a very deliberate technical way, discarding natural colours in order to produce an image that reflects a different way of looking at the world around me.
