The Binding strength, simplicity and beauty of the early Polynesian lashing is subjected to one of modern mans great inventions, the clock - a symbol of equality and universal convention. I've taken stainless steel wire trace to bind two circular forms together while additionally and inherently providing accurate markers for the clock face. This adapted form of fabrication not only provides a functional element but divides the clock evenly into sixty minutes. The two toned timber laminations and outer laminate also give this unique clock a distinct contemporary aesthetic, typical of my homegrown affection.
