The Story:
The Pohutukawa Trivet was the first product to come out of an annual collaboration between Port Chalmers Design Store and the Otago Polytechnic Design School. The Flux team, Adam, Nicola and Griff have gone on to amazing design jobs in New Zealand's design community.The Flux trivet is a result of the students' second year marketing and design management paper. Flux presented five concepts to lecturers and their class. Collectively, Flux felt the trivet was their strongest concept and the feedback from the group agreed, so they developed it further and then put it into manufacture.
