This Going, going... gone series focuses on the loss of our butterflies due to diminishing habitat and introduction of foreign species (wasps) Acrylic has been used as it causes environmental degradation and is also a product of today's society. The feelers are designed to go too (fall off) to alert you as to the butterflies fragility but the wings leave us with the shadow/essence of the butterfly.
