Text on the T-shirt:
The tuatara is a reptile native to New Zealand, they are the only surviving representatives of the order Sphenodontia and are amongst the most primitive living reptiles, having undergone few evolutionary changes in anatomy during the past 200 million years. They have an unusual pronounced parietal eye, dubbed the "third eye" on the top of its head, whose current function is a subject of ongoing research. The name "tuatara" derives from the Maori language and means "peaks on the back".
